The District

Robertson is less than two hours from Sydney and sits on the escarpment at 770 metres. It is the gateway to the many charming European style villages of the Southern Highlands showcasing boutique shops, art galleries, cafes, antiques, farmers’ markets and fabulous gardens. The Bradman International Cricket Hall of Fame is 25 minutes away in Bowral and there are numerous cool climate wineries to explore.

Only a few minutes drive from Robertson village are national parks including the very impressive Fitzroy,  Carrington and Belmore waterfalls and the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk.


The beautiful beaches of Kiama and Shellharbour, the Jamberoo Action Park and the Minnamurra Rainforest Centre are only 40 minutes drive down the spectacular rainforest escarpment.

Historic Berrima village is 35 minutes drive. An attractive village with lovely boutique shops, a museum, old gaol, ghost tours, cafes and pretty river walks.

Kangaroo Valley is a 30 minute spectacular drive to a valley which boasts dramatic and picturesque surroundings. Stay for an hour for a devonshire tea or a week for canoe hire and other adventures.

The world famous white sands of Jervis Bay are 1 hour 15 minutes away where there is a  Dolphin cruise and whale watching.
